JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an event intern at our school, you will be responsible for assisting our team in organizing and executing various events. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting in the planning and coordination of school events. Events support including Summer Festival, CNY staff party(off-site), UN Day & IFF, Government, Co Senior Team, VIPs, NYU sports, Brit Cham – British Day Festival of Education, and 10y anniversary preparation & Xmas tree lighting.
• Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and communications, to promote events
• Managing event logistics, such as venue setup, vendor coordination, and equipment rental
• Providing administrative support to our team
• Contributing to the development of new ideas and strategies for future events
BASIC QUALIFICATION
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Duration:
This internship will be for a duration of Sep 2024 – July 2025. The start date will be 9 Sep 2024. Minimum 4 days a week.
WORK EXPERIENCE
• A minimum of 6 months working experience in international organisations
• Experience of reporting in to and supporting a senior leadership team comprising both local and expats
