Roles & Responsibilities:

For this junior Operations Specialist role, the primary responsibility is to operate Amazon Global Logistics products by following standard operation process so as to serve seller’s demand on cross-border logistics. The detailed responsibilities are:

-        Make debit note, Payment notice and Letter of Guarantee 

-        Confirm with finance team to monitor the collection of the freight

-        Issue B/L and communicate with LSP to help sellers finish the destination customs clearance 

-        Monitor the cargo’s releasing by the customs, update it to the sellers immediately when exceptions happen.

-        Feedback the import duty and tax to sellers, update the Debit note on time

-        Summary all relevant documents and submit to finance team for applying the invoice 

-        Coordinate with sellers and LSP to keep the shipment arrive safe

-        Validate destination import custom clearance doc according to import & export custom process and trade compliance to reduce the impact of custom inspection and hold caused by incorrect custom clearance document on seller.

-        Identify key seller’s special needs through daily contact to feedback to the business for service development and standardization.

-        Identify improvement opportunity in the process to feedback to the business to improve seller experience and process efficiency.

-        Conduct process pilot/test runs with Operations and Program Manager in developing new service delivery.

Basic Qualifications

-        Bachelor and master students to graduate in July 2020

-        Sound understanding of International transportation practice.

-        Sound understanding of China Import and Export Regulations.

-        Strong analytical and computer skills.

-        Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese.

-        Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, maintain a strong attention to detail, and work independently;

-        Demonstrates effective communication, composure, and professional attitude;

-        Must be able to multi-task and maintain composure

-        Strong communication skill, customer service background preferred 

-        Teamwork and collaboration towards achieving team goals preferred
