Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) Cross Border team is responsible for providing FBA Sellers a one stop shop for international transportation service, providing end-to-end supply chain solutions for our Customers. Amazon Global Logistics is seeking a Customer centric Operations Specialist who wants to be part of this journey as we expand our compliance related services. Successful candidates will have a keen attention to detail, a passion for compliance and brokerage operations, and high standards for governance and oversight.
Daily duties will include:
· Serve as dedicated contact window for sales / sellers for ocean shipment arrangement from booking receiving to FC delivery
· Deal with origin operations including booking with LSP, FCL trucking, CFS consolidation, export customs clearance etc.,
· Perform as escalation point for any abnormal case and provide proper solution to internal / external customers
· Follow up origin accessorial charge verification and confirmation
· Provide proper transportation solution based on seller’s commodity and documents available, like battery or DG shipments.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with import and export, preferably operation experience in Forwarder industry(Air or Ocean or Both) or International logistics relevant degrees College education or above;
· Good understanding of International Ocean freight practice
· Proficient written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese
· Strong sense of responsibility and ownership to meet deadlines, take preemptive measure to avoid freight delay.
· Trade lane knowledge on transpacific is preferable, which includes routing of MLB / all water as well as the operational requirement of ISF /AMS / ACI filing
· Operation experiences on DDU/DDP shipment is preferable, who understands the destination process of import declaration, FC delivery and trans load arrangement
