Job Description RSO Intern
The RSO Intern will work in the C/RE-AP2 team (real estate) and is required to support mainly in the RSO (Regional Sales Office) function. The intern may also expect other tasks from the FCM (Facility Management) function from time to time.
The RSO function supports the coordination of the 36 RSOs (Regional Sales Office) in China and manages 25 of them administratively. At these 25 offices, RSO function provides office services to internal customers.
The RSO Intern is expected to support the RSO function in mainly the following fields:
1. Coordination work with external parties
a. Support in the approval (signing) process of legal agreements
b. Prepare, initiate and follow-up on payments
2. RSO administrative operations
a. Check reimbursements against guidelines, communicate with applicants as necessary to ensure compliance
b. Update and maintain various information lists of RSOs: overview list, user list, expenditure records, payment schedule, payment history etc
c. Initiate the purchase of low-value equipment / office supplies under company frame contract
d. Coordinate employee on-board and leaving process at the RSO
e. Other administrative issues
3. Coordination work amongst Bosch entities
a. Prepare and support in the approval (signing) process of service level agreements with internal customers
b. Prepare invoice on a quarterly basis to ensure timely collection of service fees
In this position, the intern has the opportunity to learn:
- basic expense controlling practices and tools in a multi-national company
- basic purchasing requisition and payment processes in a multi-national company
- various aspects of running a small office
- the concept of inter-company services and charging
The intern also gets frequent chance to interact with colleagues and vendors (landlords / property management companies) throughout China.
Required knowledge
Experienced Microsoft office user (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Native Chinese skills, good command of English (written and spoken)
