Our Team

The Global Risk & Protection team is responsible for keeping eBay as a trusted Marketplace. Our policy managers identify problems in the present systems, policy and processes, mostly on seller side, by investigating data, and then apply problem-solving skills to make improvements. Our Business Analyst Intern will support policy managers in analytics, reporting, research and documentation-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Support the entire eBay APAC region markets including Greater China, Australia, Southeast Asia, India and high protentional European/Latin countries

• Perform data investigation and data analysis requests by using SQL/Excel

• Carry out an end-to-end strategic program of your choice, discovering real problems and provide real solutions and present to the Global Risk & Protection leadership team

• Generate tracking reports on eBay seller performance metrics

• Document policies and processes to ensure easy reference for policy managers and cross-functional stakeholders

• Other ad-hoc tasks involving Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau

Job Requirement:

The desired qualities of the candidate should include:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics / Business / Statistics / Computer Science or related fields

• Proactive, responsive, willing to learn and attentive to details

• Proficiency in SQL/Excel/Pivot table.

• Statistical modelling knowledge using Tableau/SAS/Python/R is a plus

• Can fluently speak, read and write both English & Chinese (Mandarin)
