Position Summary

NYU Shanghai is recruiting one Research assistant (Intern) at the Center for Global Asia (https://cga.shanghai.nyu.edu/). The overarching goal of the center is to provide global societies with information on the contexts for the reemerging connections between the various parts of Asia through research and teaching. Collaborating not only with the various NYU campuses, but also with other institutions locally and internationally, the center seeks to play a bridging role between existing Asian studies knowledge silos.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the editing of newsletters
- Proof-reading newsletter articles, events programs in both Chinese and English for clarity and accuracy to ensure they meet our high quality standards.
- Assist in other tasks to support the research project as required. This will involve bibliographical references. 

Requirements

- B.A. in Humanities, China Studies, Social sciences, or related areas; 
- Fluent in both Chinese and English; 
- Desirable: Study abroad experiences; excellent editing skills
