Job Title: Product and Tooling/Process Data Analysis

Job Description:

• This is a good opportunity to learn the product, tooling and molding knowledge of consumer electronic products if you are willing to learn and take challenges.

• Under the coaching from the mentor, you would independently collect and analyze data of consumer electronic products to find the link between product cosmetic performance and tooling/molding factors. The final results would be summarized and presented to the whole engineering team.

Major Duties:

• Collect and analyze the existing products’ cosmetic and tooling/molding data;

• Analyze the data to find the link between product cosmetic performance and tooling/molding factors;

Qualification & Skills:

• Undergraduate or graduate student, major in Mechanical engineering, Polymer materials and engineering or similar;

• Interest in plastic injection molding;

• Good communication skills;

• Fluent English;

• Good summary, documentation, presentation skills;

• Good knowledge in plastic injection molding is a plus;

• Good knowledge in mathematical statistics is a plus;

• Good skill in Python is a plus. 

Background:

This is a 2 - 6 month contract position, duration to be reviewed during the interview.
