About the Role –

As the intern to support Margin Planning Financial Analyst, you will assist in the preparation of timely and insightful financial analysis on margins to determine progress against the budget, seasonal targets and forecast. You will take part in performing timely analysis, encompassing price-point and cost-component analysis, in support of the decision-making process to drive business performance, aligned to the strategic plan. You will be actively involved in seasonal margin reporting activities, including prepare detail margin profitability reports and cost status check.

Key Responsibilities – 

• Prepare margin profitability report per seasonal topline and cost updates.

• Provide timely tracking on the financial performance of Margin levers against forecast and budget.

• Assist in identifying the margin implications of business decisions throughout the seasonal planning process.

• Assist in the performance of financial planning and analysis activities on Margin for Total GC, across dimensions and all categories.

   

  Requirements for this position include –

• To succeed in this role, you will be described as personable, accountable and operationally hands-on with an acute sense on numbers and attention to details. 

• You will be required to have advanced Excel and Powerpoint proficiencies. 

• Understanding of SAP and SQL Planning tools will be a plus.

• Can commit 3-4 days a week.
