Purpose of Position
· Support Benchmarking on competitor’s vehicle
· Support vehicle level packaging integrations
· Support China customer’s study
Areas of Responsibility
Support Benchmarking on competitor’s vehicle, including performance benchmarking, vehicle teardown, packaging and engineering sections to ensure the best engineering solutions applied into the new vehicle programs.
Support vehicle packaging integration, including vehicle general arrangement, typical sections study, and packaging zone & limit checks to ensure the right vehicle packaging engineering solution.
Support to conduct China customer’s clinic with market research to get best knowledge of regional customer’s needs and requirements. Input to Global team for global new program strategy development.
Qualification
· Knowledge of cars and new energy vehicles; Understanding of engineering theory and principles
· Knowledge of vehicle level packaging requirements, including vehicle general arrangement, typical engineering sections, packaging engineering criteria, vision check and regulations, etc.
· Good Unigraphics skills
· Good at Microsoft office especially excel
· Good self-learning ability
· Effective communication skills in both English and Chinese
· Work effectively with others, effective and strong team player
· Automobile Engineering background
