Position Summary

Intern in this role will be assisting with various matters relating to the production of events and administrative support of External and Academic Events program.

实习生将会协助筹备和支持上海纽约大学各种学术活动的开展。

Responsibilities

Events Support 活动支持:

• Preparation before events (participation in weekly production meetings, making travel arrangements for guests, translation of events blurbs, posting and managing hard copies and electronic copies of events posters, liaise with other departments, posting events info on University events calendar, WeChat, etc.)

• 活动前期准备（参与每周例会，帮助活动嘉宾安排差旅，翻译活动内容，张贴和管理纸质和电子海报，与学校其他部门合作，运用秀米等软件在官网、微信等不同平台编辑和发布活动信息等）

• Videoing and taking photos during events

• 活动现场支持（摄影，拍照等）

• Closeout of events (photos/video/posters archiving, supporting maintenance of tracking sheets, basic data analysis, etc.)

• 活动结束后的收尾工作（照片、视频、海报归档，整理活动表格，简单的数据分析等）

Administrative assistance 行政支持:

• Printing, photocopying, faxing, etc.

• Ordering and maintaining office supplies

Qualification

Required Education 教育背景:

College seniors or Students enrolled in master’s program or above

大四或硕士在读

Required Experience

Experience working in a cross-cultural environment preferred

有多元文化环境工作经验者为佳

Experience organizing or supporting events preferred

有活动支持经验者为佳

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 技能:

• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin

• 流利的中英文口头和书面表达

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• 人际交往和沟通能力

• Detail-orientated and good time management skills

• 细致和时间管理能力

• Professional and positive; flexible and adaptable

• 积极的态度；适应能力强

• At least 3 days a week from December 2017 to May 2018
