Purpose:

•To support global Takata Airbag inflator investigation

• To support ongoing global investigation on Kobe steel falsified quality data issue

• Inflator ballistic test set up planning support

• SFI process understanding training on colleague student

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Translation of global technical paper to be used for China authority DPAC (Defect Product Administrative center)’s inquiry, get familiar with all the technical material in NHTSA , EU Rapid Alert system and KBA( Germany) website.

2. As technical assistance for Airbag investigation, deep dive in airbag component.

3. As lead in Ballistic test operation, equipment, procedure and all the related technical papers.

4. Build hypothesis for potential root cause or other research need, pre-test preparation and after test data analysis, and build the official report with the support of NJUST (Nanjing University of Science and Technology)

5. Design and experimental responsibility for Airbag and Steel material issue

    

Qualification:

Master in chemical or automotive, and doctor degree is preferred.

Strong in English, advance or intermediate interpretation license is preferred.

Proficient in Design and analytical Tools/Software required.

Good communication skills in both English and Chinese

Familiar with chemical and material product

Drive for Results, Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Good problem solving capability, Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
