Job Purpose

Reporting to the business unit finance manager, this role will help support ongoing forecasting, planning, analytics and reporting.  This includes, but not limited to, management reporting and business tracking, analysis and decision support, implementation of process efficiencies, controls and systems.  This integral team member will gain valuable technical skills as well as learn the fundamentals and essentials of corporate financial planning in an exciting fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

•        Reports to the business unit Finance Manager

•        Additionally accountable to wider finance team and business partners

•        Complete scheduled tasks including weekly reports and system reconciliations

•        Support the development of new tools, processes and controls to help ensure data integrity and accuracy

•        Deliver analysis to help support decision making

•        Identify and drive process improvements and efficiencies

•        Help analyze market and business trends

•        Attend weekly finance team meetings

Qualifications & Required Skills

•        Must be currently attending an accredited university majoring in finance, economics, accounting or have another business related focus

•        Prior work experience not required

•        Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, especially pivot table and vlookup)

•        Fluent in Chinese and English

•        Able to work 3-4 days/week for a 6 month minimum term

•        Must be a fast learner, proactive, collaborative, team player, problem solver, and have a positive attitude
