Summary:

We are looking for a Database Administrator Trainee, who will work closely with local environment management, with the application development team, and with the IT Support team to provide the reliable DB. These solutions must be evaluated, designed, tested and implemented to scale across large number of database and applications across different environment.

Responsibilities:

• Basic database issues resolve

• Fix the complex database requirement from the Application team

• Help the Testing team to have performance testing and the report analyzing, then tuning the new project DB

• New DB creation, upgrading and patching

• Database backup and restore testing

• Setup the SOS DB execution standard

• Standardize and documentation the SOS DB maintenance process

• SOS DB patching and upgrading proposal researching

• Own the Global Database Data Migration

• SOS database security strategy design and implement

Requirements:

• Colleges major in computer science or related.

• Related experience as IT Infrastructure DBA/ consultant with facilitating, requirement analysis, conceptual design and planning skills especially in medium or large size distributed enterprise environment.

• Technical skill including: Analysis, planning, designing and implementation of complex technology architecture based on different data center and environments.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, Speak and write fluently in English

• Internet/ Software industry working experience is preferred.

• Knowledge and experience in a Microsoft/Solaris/Linux environment is preferred.

• Understand and familiar with China Telematics industry and telephony is preferred.
