Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Digital (WDPR Digital), a digital media arm of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, makes dreams come true.  Through our award-winning websites and mobile applications, we provide a digital portal to such magical travel destinations as Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida, Disneyland® Resort in California and Hong Kong Disneyland®.  At WDPRO, we also work closely with our brand partners to design and create websites for Disney Cruise Line®, Adventures by Disney® and Disney Vacation Club®.
 In order to provide exceptional creative content for our Guests online, we seek high-caliber talent to be part of our creative, technology and management teams.  We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our team as an Information Technology interns. You'll be part of a diverse culture of learning, teaching and mentorship. Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy web applications using Java/LAMP technologies 
  OR

  Develop and deploy iOS based applications using Objective-C/Swift; and/or Android based applications using Java and the Android SDK. 

• Work collaboratively or in isolation as the situation demands.

• Design, develop and test complete applications and also discrete components of larger web or APP solutions.

• Interface with remote and distributed data sources and APIs.

• Troubleshoot, optimize and performance tune.

• Work closely with the Technology Manager, Architect and the rest of the development team in different locations, to continually improve the development process and the product quality.

• Establishing time/effort estimations for tasks, to support more effective planning.

Basic Qualifications 

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Sciences

• Interns must have strong coding skill in at least one programming language such as Java, PHP,  Objective-C/Swift or Android development

• Relevant internship/work/research experience

• Interns must be legally authorized to work in mainland China. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Demonstrated outstanding academic achievement

• A strong record of team, project and/or people leadership in a work setting and/or extracurricular activities

• The ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

• Willingness to take initiative to understand the business

• An aptitude for problem solving; strong writing and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English

• Previous successful experience as an active member of a team

• A strong commitment to excellence and to personal and professional growth
