The Centre of Excellence

This internship programme is designed to find and develop recruitment consultant experts for the future, as well as give students an opportunity to have a deeper insight of what a recruitment career is like. You will receive industry-leading training and learn the core recruitment methodologies required to be a successful recruiting expert.

What you will do

Throughout your internship, you will work closely with our consultants, learn the steps of the recruitment cycle, and experience what life is like as a recruitment consultant. You will represent Hays, attract and screen candidates for real clients and provide support to consultants on a range of administrative tasks. In addition, you will assist with arranging interviews, optimising compliance, and utilise our database to ensure that the information we keep are accurate. Hays has a high performance culture so we will be stretching your ability and test your real potential for a career in recruitment.

What you’ll need to succeed

We are looking for motivated, commercially-minded undergraduate and graduate students to take part in our centre of excellence programme.  Students who have real enthusiasm in the recruitment consultancy industry and are ready to give 100% of themselves are exactly what we need. You will need to be able to multi-task and be highly efficient at time management as you will be working in a fast-paced environment. Good written and verbal skills in English and Chinese is required since you will be working with people from various backgrounds. You will need to commit to working a minimum of 3 days a week for a period of no less than 2 months.

You will also have a chance to be offered a full-time position based on your performance and our business needs.
