GENERAL SUMMARY

DELLEMC PSE IVE group provides innovative, scalable and industry leading software solutions to manage, validate and emulate DELLEMC storage, server products and systems in modern data center.

This internship position is responsible for disk array enclosure (DAE) management and disk diagnostic software, scripts development.

 PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and validate diagnostic testware to support drive test requirements; 

• Work with developers, QA and platform leader to narrow down the embedded code or scripts issues;

• Work as global resources and collaborate with global cross-function teams to support the existing drive tester with supervisor;

• Be able to develop script function or model assigned independently under the framework of test scripts;   

• Set up test environment to execute the drive test and validate the solution/fix via log analysis.

 

 SKILLS

 

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Familiar with C/C++ or OOD concepts, experienced in Linux environment.

• Interest in DAE and disk storage management.

• Wish to learn, fast adapting to new technologies and skills.

• Strong problem solving skills;

• Good communication in English and be able to work in a global team.

 

 Education Required:

On-campus Master/Bachelor students of CS or EE (Graduate 2019 or later)
