DESCRIPTION:

Environmental Graphic Designer who develops signage and Show graphics that help tell the stories in Shanghai Disney Resort and Shanghai Disneyland.  Graphic Design Intern works under close supervision from the Design & Show Quality Art Director and Design Manager and will be asked to provide design solutions and coordination of assigned design projects, including concepts and project documentation as required.  Graphics design projects range in scale and will be used for various projects across all lines of business. 

Responsibilities include:

• Provide graphic support to various Environmental Graphic design projects by assisting in projet design development, technical documentation and fabrication oversight.

• Prepare signage design information and documentation

• Provide design documentation in the form of Illustrator, PhotoShop, photographs, scaled images, research and documentation on various projects

• Perform basic technical and documentation skills

• Participates in the ideation, presentation and execution of their assignments, following through on all creative deliverables.

• Prepares final Production artwork for production

• Various work to be performed under close supervision of Design & Show Quality Creative Director and Design Manager

   

Required Qualifications:

• Studying for a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design

• A portfolio of collegiate level or professional design work that demonstrates skills and experience in the graphic design field

• Conceptual skills with the ability to create situational compositions, backgrounds and props.

• Working knowledge of diverse design styles and techniques.

• Good presentation skills

• Organization skills

• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and detail-oriented

• Partnering skills and excels in a team dynamic

• Influencing abilities

• Strong computer skills including proficiency in digital illusrration tools such as Illustrator, PhotoShop, In Design, Sketch-up and MS Office Suite -  Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Proficiency in writing, reading and speaking Mandarin and English
