Role and Responsibilities
Work directly with dietitian and food service manager in the following:
• Assist in Menu and recipe development program
• Organize database food and nutrition software system
• Conduct research for food and nutrition related topics and summarize research
• Administrative duties such as taking minutes in translating documents, meetings,
• Creating patient nutrition education materials
• Prepare food and nutrition related presentations
Preferred Skills
• Interest in nutrition, education, and food service
• Majoring in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, Health Promotion, or a related field of study
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Strong writing skills in Chinese and in English
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Fast typing in Chinese and English
• Experience in translating English to Chinese, vice versa
Additional Notes
• Internship commitment of at least 3-6 months
• At least 3 full days (24 hours) per week
