Description
Purpose: His or her role should overview of interior and exterior design. Develop 2D idea ration of design proposals. Execute conceptual ideas into design intent 3D property.
Factors: This role is a unique because she/he should have strong creative design background and experienced in 2D and 3D development skills with design & engineering issues resolving ability to fully support designers and other upper level leadership’s decisions and directions.
Areas of Responsibility
· Local - within a country or neighboring countries with similar culture
· Regional – within a continental region (e.g., Europe, Asia, North America, LAAM)
· Global – all regions of the world
Area of Accountability | Percent of Time | Local/Regional/Global | Key Responsibilities | |
1. | 2D design | 60% | Idea ration for both global and JV projects, creative good quality sketches and renderings. | |
2. | 3D design and development | 30% | Local / Global | Develop 3D CAS or clay property with engineering input and restrict |
3. | Project interaction | 10% | Local / Global | Interact with project team and operation team, such as CAS and clay modelers; design report drafting one of important items of the role |
Qualifications
Skills: Sketching, rendering skills; strong 2D to 3D transformation skills; Design execution skills ; good communication skills; interpersonal skill |
Experience/Education: BA degree in Automotive/ product/ industrial design on studying design students |
Competencies: Good English/ Chinese Speaker, good design proposal presenter/ hard worker, and flexible/ teamwork spirit
