The government relation Intern is supporting eBay GC GR Director in policy monitoring, government relation maintenance and other operating tasks. 

The position is expected to support the GC GR team to:   

l  Assist GC Director to plan and implement the GA China strategy.

l  Monitoring the change and development trend of laws and policies related to eBay business, and provide timely report internally.

l  Supporting eBay business entity in obtaining government approvals, certification and incentives, such as tax exemption and government subsidy,

l  Maintain working level relation with government organizations and trade associations, such as SAEFI, AmCham, USCBC, and etc.

l  Arrange and prepare for executive meetings with government officials and visits to government organizations

l  Provide GR and operational support to GR team and other departments

The position will be based in Shanghai, with travels.

Qualifications

·         High Integrity & honesty. Strictly compliant with rules and code of conduct when dealing with government officials.

·         Passionate and able to learn new things quickly.

·         Ability to understand Chinese government system and the process of decision and policy making.

·         Strong document drafting ability with good presentation skill

·         Well organize and detail driven

·         Required Education and Experience

·         Student of renowned universities, graduate students preferred.

·         Fluent in Mandarin and good command in English, oral and written

·         Knowledge of government relation or related experience preferred.
