Front End Development Engineering Intern for Search Backend Team

We are looking for a supremely talented, extremely passionate Front End software development engineering intern.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Develop UI for the software and data distribution system.

• Work with backend engineers side by side to deliver the best end user experience.

• Produce high quality and well-documented code.

   

Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Computer Science or related field and be able to work at least 4 days a week for half a year or longer.

• Smart, quick learning and proactive.

• Hands-on experience in web development, Javascript, CSS, HTML5

• Solid foundational Computer Science skills coupled with a strong desire to learn and grow

• Must have experience with one or more o f the following: Java, Scala, C++, Python, Perl.

• Experience with service oriented architecture, preferably REST.

• No-SQL database, such as MongoDB, HBase and open source source experience with Zookeeper and Kafka a plus.
